DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT?
YES. We are by appointment however we will accept work ins if our schedule allows. Appointments are always taken care of first so not having an appointment could mean a longer wait time, just like a doctors office.
DO YOU ALLOW CHILDREN IN THE STUDIO?
No, a piercing studio, salon, high end retail stores and tattoo shops are no place for children. Only children that are getting pierced or that have a shopping appointment or check up are permitted inside the studio, we recommend seeing if someone can sit in the car with your child while you're busy. This is for many reasons but the biggest reason being is that we want everyone to have a comfortable and pleasant experience, and for some of our clients this might be the only time they get to have a break from their own children. If they are breast feeding it can be very uncomfortable and painful when other children are triggering certain hormonal responses we can't control. Another reason is we want you to have a great experience as well, and be able to give your piercer your full attention so we can explain aftercare and answer any questions you have, that can be challenging if you are trying to also watch over children at the same time

CAN I GET A TATTOO IF I'M NOT 18?
NO, it is the law in Texas that you must be 18 or older to receive a tattoo and parents or guardians are not permitted to give consent for the tattoo. This is different in every state but these laws and regulations have been in place in Texas since the 90's.
CAN I SLEEP ON MY PIERCING?
NO, we recommend using a neck pillow like a donut or a claw style hair clip by the ear to prevent sleeping or rolling onto the piercing. Sleeping or lying on the piercing can cause the piercing to be squished and can heal in this crooked/squished position and can also manifest into a "piercing bump" which is granuloma - or, inflamed- tissue which is difficult to treat. So remember, even if it doesn't hurt to lay on your piercing, there is still damage being done.
CAN I GO SWIMMING WITH MY NEW TATTOO OR PIERCING?
The short and safe answer, is NO. We recommend waiting at least 8 weeks before submerging your piercing in any kind of water. This is because too much moisture can harbor bacteria and if your piercing isn't slightly healed enough on the exterior, the moisture, bacteria and chemicals that might be in that water can more easily enter the piercing.
MY PIERCING HAS A BUMP, IS THAT NORMAL?
THESE BUMPS ARE NOT “KELOIDS” AND THEY ARE PRETTY COMMON. THE BEST NEWS IS THAT THEY DO GO AWAY, WHEREAS KELOIDS DO NOT. WE CALL THESE “IRRITATION BUMPS” OR THEIR TECHNICAL NAME IS “GRANULOMA”. BECAUSE THEY ARE CAUSED BY DIRECT OR INDIRECT STRESS OR TRAUMA ON THE PIERCING SITE, THIS MEANS THINGS THAT AREN'T EVEN PIERCING RELATED CAN PUT STRESS ON THE PIERCING. SUCH AS, GETTING SICK, TRAVEL, EMOTIONAL STRESS, PREGNANCY, MENSTRUAL CYCLE, BIRTH CONTROL, MEDICATIONS, EVEN ACNE MEDICATIONS AND TOPICAL PRODUCTS. IT CAN TAKE A WHILE, BUT IT'S A PROCESS OF ELIMINATION WHEN THESE ARE CONCERNED. IT’S IMPORTANT THAT YOU NEVER PICK AT THE BUMP, DON'T USE ANY OTHER PRODUCTS ON IT AND NEVER TRY TO “DRAIN” IT, IT ONLY HAS BLOOD INSIDE, AND DON’T DO ANYTHING ELSE TO INTRODUCE MORE TRAUMA TO THE SITE.
- FIRST MAKE SURE THAT YOUR JEWELRY IS AT LEAST INDUSTRY STANDARD, DON'T JUST GO OFF WHAT YOUR PIERCER TOLD YOU IT WAS.

- HOW ARE YOU CLEANING IT? REMEMBER SOAPS, ALCOHOL, OINTMENTS, PEROXIDE, BAND AID ANTISEPTIC SPRAY, BACTINE, AND OTHER PRODUCTS MADE FOR DIFFERENT WOUND TYPES ARE ALL A DANGER TO YOUR PIERCING, EVEN IF YOUR PIERCER INSTRUCTED YOU TO USE THEM.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I TIP MY PIERCER?
Piercing is a service industry and for anyone that has been pierced more than a few times knows that there is a difference between "just getting a piercing" with okay service vs excellent service provided by a piercing technician who is genuinely striving to give you an unforgettable experience and a perfect piercing. Standard tipping is just like tipping a server at a nice restaurant -or a great server at any restaurant- which is 15%-20% of the total usually. But ultimately we don't expect tips, but we are extremely appreciative of them. Tips can be left in cash or on the card and are not split among staff.
DO YOU PIERCE LITTLE KIDS' EARS?
Indeed we do! We have a whole section of our website dedicated to this, so please read over that prior to booking !
WHAT ABOUT INFANTS?
We are not comfortable piercing anyone who cannot consent, and the law technically doesn't allow this. This includes piercing babies, and young children.
CAN I BRING MY CHILD IN WITH ME WHILE I AM GETTING A PIERCING?
Much like in a salon or spa, the presence of children can be distracting, or for breastfeeding mothers it can even be painful. We want you to be able to relax and not be distracted by also having to multi task and supervise your understandably bored and active child. We also want to be able to focus on doing the very best job for you as possible and that is extremely challenging when a parent has to get up repeatedly to remind their child to behave or having to constantly watch what they're touching, climbing on or if they are too close to a contaminated area, etc. For this reason we do require that you arrange child care prior to booking with us. Our staff may have other customers to attend to and cannot be left responsible for your children. The also may not be left unattended.
DO YOU DO INTIMATE PIERCINGS?
We are very experienced with all things safe piercing, this includes intimate piercings. Please don't hesitate or feel embarrassed to ask us about your goals for yourself or if you are just curious. We approach all matters but especially this, with the utmost respect and professionalism and take confidentiality very seriously.
CAN I BRING MY OWN JEWELRY TO GET PIERCED WITH?
The short answer is NO. Our insurance does not allow us to do this because you could have a reaction to the jewelry you bring in to us and thus making us liable for that reaction. We understand some stores claim to sell safe jewelry that is "real" but there could still be some alloys in the jewelry that can react very poorly, and just to be safe, we want to only use our jewelry because we know whats in it, we know it is the safest, and we want you to have the best healing experience possible.
CAN I GET PIERCED WITH A RING RIGHT AWAY?
IT REALLY DEPENDS. SOMETIMES A PIERCING IS LIKELY TO HEAL BETTER WITH A STUD STYLE PIECE AND SWITCHED TO A RING ONCE IT IS HEALED. THIS WILL DEPEND ON THE PLACEMENT, THICKNESS OF TISSUE, AND COMFORT LEVEL OF THE PIERCER. OUR GOAL IS TO MAKE SURE WE'RE TAKING EVERY POSSIBLE MEASURE TO MAKE SURE YOUR PIERCING HEALS BEAUTIFULLY.
